I'll give it a few weeks and if Firefox isn't fixed I'll be moving to another browser permanently. I know many people that have switched to Chrome or Opera just to get away from the browsing issues with Firefox.
The delay is so bad in loading I'd rather take the security risk than update to the Quantum laggard version. I'd suggest Firefox throw the latest version out and start again. I just downgraded to an earlier version - instantly web pages load immediately, no need to wait seconds for them to do so.
