Gearbox says that on the Xbox family of devices, the move can only be made from the 360 to the One, but for the PlayStation devices, gamers can take saves and deliver them from any device to another. Gamers need to then download the saves on the other device, and the process needs to be repeated for each new save gamers want to move. Once Borderlands: The Handsome Collection is actually launched, gamers will have to go to the Cross Save, on the PS3, or the Cloud Save, on the Xbox 360, and then choose Upload Save. The company says that later in the day it will introduce patches for both titles in order to allow gamers to start the process. With the new Borderlands: The Handsome Collection set to be launched next week, the development team at Gearbox is ready to deliver a full set of instructions for all those who have already played Borderlands 2 or The Pre-Sequel on either the PlayStation 3 or the Xbox 360 and are interested in moving their saved games to the new devices from Microsoft or Sony.
